During her management career, Sue has managed major organizational change efforts in companies with several thousand employees. She has been responsible for managing and implementing programs in the areas of training and skill development, changing styles of management from autocratic to consultative and participative management styles. She led a team of specialists in blending six unique cultures of a holding company into one corporate identity.
Sue has always had an interest in organizational behavior and research. Her thesis written on Loyalty and Commitment in the New Organization, is the capstone of a body of research she conducted studying these two attributes in organizations. This research sparked further interest in developing scientific study methods for organizations. Today Sue enables Lumpkin & Associates to provide its clients with first class, scientific measurement of organizational and leadership qualities. With this data she provides recommendations for the design of change efforts in organizations of all sizes.
Whether it's studying company values, employee attitudes, management capabilities, workplace norms, team readiness, and many other attributes of organization, Sue brings careful design and scientific analysis to her work with clients. She is most capable of designing and implementing programs and recommendations that get the result desired.
